New Group Policy Administrator Service Pack Release

Micro Focus/NetIQ Group Policy Administrator 6.8 Service Pack 2 is Generally Available
Organizations that rely on Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy need the ability to model and predict the impact of Group Policy Object (GPO) changes before they are deployed. Because native administrative tools do not validate GPO changes before these changes are replicated into both the Active Directory environment and Microsoft Windows platform, organizations face the risk of errors and unauthorized changes that could have devastating user access and security consequences.
Micro Focus/NetIQRegistered Group Policy AdministratorTm delivers a powerful and intuitive offline environment and approved change-and-release process to allow organizations to securely plan, troubleshoot and report on GPO administration without impacting the performance and availability of the live Active Directory environment.

This Service Pack, Group Policy Administrator 6.8 SP2, expands this value set by including a number of improvements, many of which were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and recommendations. Please refer to the Group Policy Administrator 6.8 SP2 Release Notes for a detailed list of improvements that include:
• A new Display Name column addition to the Notification Summary Screen that lists the display name of the GPO
• The ability to hide the “All” GPO Category in the Repository Node by Default
• New installation instructions including updated prerequisites
• Details regarding a number of specific product fixes

Thank you for your interest in Micro Focus/NetIQ Group Policy Administrator.
