The Express 4.0 Patch 1 can be found on the HPe Support Portal -- under the Downloads page - or if you open a ticke twith Support they can provide it to you.
Patch 1 can be installed on the a Gen 7 RHEL 5.5 appliance --- but you can only install patch 1 ---- there is no OS upgrade for you to run.
If your on a Gen 8 6.2 RHEL appliance ----- you need to follow the steps in the guide to ----- but the patches should be avaialbe un der HPe Support - Downloads --------
This patch also changes your Consoles ---- so be prepared to reinstall those also.
Our Express version is 4.0 and details as follows, how to make sure that, whether it is patched (4.0 patch 1). As per the release notes patch 1 build version is 1361
I just got off the phone with Support - THis released Patch can't be installed on my Express installation at all -
Minimum OS required per Support RHEL 6.2 with an express recommendation that after the patch is applied you migrate to 6.5
Thanks HP - you effectively telling everyone on probably GEN7 Hardware that what we have to buy all new Express Appliances - really...... I still have active support contracts for this - but you've basically abandoned us.
