How to clear old report record ?

Hi

My Customer use Sentinel generate daily / weekly report about 15-20 reports...more then years..Sentinel generates much records...

I want to cleat older than specific date(For example: clear older than one year)

Is it possible or I must cleat "Alll" ??

I don't think there is the ability to select generated reports by a time filter.

You'll need to script that using the REST API: https://www.novell.com/developer/plugin-sdk/ref/restapi/7.0/#Reporting

Just wondering,

how about following command :

find /var/opt/novell/sentinel/data/plugin_repository -mtime +365 -exec rm -f {} \;

(365 for older than a year)

That won't clear the items from the DB (and the UI).

Hi

your mean that even I use this script remove item from OS....but I check these item total count from Web UI still no decrease,correct ??

I had verify the script...Yes, you are right....the Web UI Still show these report generate record and when I click it , it show error.
