This release adds support for Safe Unicode FPE which opens up additional global markets by providing data protection of all Unicode characters.  In addition, we have also extended FPE2 and FPH by adding support for all formats. Highlights of this new version include:

Safe Unicode FPE

  • Extended support for Unicode through a predefined Variable Length String (VLS) format using the RESTAPI.

FPE2 for all formats

  • FPE2 and eFPE2 can be used for all format types and provides support for extended Latin and Japanese characters.

FPH for all formats

  • Support for FPH for all formats, extending beyond VLS.

Relax Tweak Constraints

  • It is possible to disable the tweak length limit and allowed characters constraints for protection formats using the tweak feature.

Configure Docker Bridge Network

  • The default network space for Docker can be changed during installation

Predefined Formats for Unicode and Japanese

  • Added support for Predefined and Auto Formats via REST.

This release is available in the Voltage SecureData download center and on the Micro Focus customer download portal shortly.
