They just want to know that Can they patch the OS on voltage server that they build from ISO ?

Resolution
The SecureData operating system (OS) is what is called a just enough OS (JEOS). A minimal OS with the necessary components to perform its designed functions. Due to the way everything is integrated and operates, customer’s should refrain from patching, or adding other software to the system. The OS is automatically patched after each release upgrade for security, bug fixes, and enhancements. Keeping up with the latest release is way to keep the system updated and patched.

There are instances when major OS security issues arise. In those cases, after evaluating the impact, a patch is created if deemed necessary.
