Hello. I'm having trouble displaying documents in Find. In the Find settings, the test for the ViewServer service runs fine, but when I open the document I get an error 500. When I download the file, it is damaged.

Hi Petro,
When you click OPEN ORIGINAL in Find, do you see anything in the View Server logs for more specifics on the problem? If the file is damaged, perhaps View Server gives an error that it can't be openned.
In general, a good method to troubleshoot View conversions is to test the KeyView conversion of a particular file in an isolated environment, by using the cnv2html
command-line tool. For example, this test can distinguish between file permission errors, and problems with unsupported formats.
If you wish to pass more detailed errors back for display with Find, please take a look at use of customer error pages: https://www.microfocus.com/documentation/idol/IDOL_12_11/View_12.11_Documentation/Help/Content/Configuration/CustomViewingErrors/MyCustomErrorName.htm
The View Server zip contains a folder "custom_viewing_errors" with example HTML fields for you to use directly or modify.
