"PROBLEM/ABSTRACT:
The following error message is returned from a UNIX/LINUX/MAC client when any AccuRev operation is performed.

Error- 12 Configuration problem - connect.c:600 - Could not get hostname information for '<client machine name>'. Check TCP/IP configuration

SOLUTION:
Verify the /etc/hosts file has an entry for the client machine.

If they use static IP addresses, make sure they have the entry:

<IP Address> <Client machine name>

If they use a DHCP server, make sure they have the entry:

127.0.0.1 <Client machine name>
