How to check my username for developer?

Hello,

I'm new for ALM Octane and now I'm using ALM Octane Developer Tools from a below link.
https://marketplace.microfocus.com/appdelivery/content/alm-octane-developer-tools

I have an issue with Username/Password that I cannot get information from Octane.
When I press "Get Users", it will show "Login not successful: Verify Username/Password..." as the attached picture.
But when I tried with Client ID/Client Secret, there is no problem and it work correctly.

I think the main problem is that my username is incorrect.
I tried with my email address, it doesn't work.
So I asked my username from this link: https://www.microfocus.com/selfreg/jsp/forgotUsername.jsp
And I got my username, but it still doesn't work.

Could you confirm about how to know my username for developer?

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

ClientID and Secret is an option, also Username and Password should work, you do not need to look for the credentials externally, documentation is referring to Username and Password that is able to login into ALM Octane application, also this user needs to be added to Sharepace and workspace inside ALM Octane.

    Hello,

Sorry, I missed your question before.   is right; the ALM Developer Tools need your ALM Octane credentials - your username and password you use to login your specific ALM Octane environment. (Client ID / Secret is a separate option.)

So please verify you can login into your specific ALM Octane environment with your username and password.

The password reset feature at https://www.microfocus.com/selfreg/jsp/forgotUsername.jsp is only for the Micro Focus forums. Please use different passwords for ALM Octane and any other environment.

    Regards,

    Dirk
