IF we do one way connection between Jira and Octane ( data flows from jira to octane ) and then have a field added (user defined ) to indicate the jira key , we have observed that though we define this as string field we are not able to searh the jira key in the features tab or in the manual Tests area where we can have the key added . Due to this its getting tough to search for the test cases  based on identifier (mainly Jira ID) and due to which teams feel its not comfortable as Jira is being extensively used for stores identification but finding the test cases associated to story or features is a tough challenge , can it be possible to tell me how to search using the jira propogated id's and not octane created ones .

Also for backlog linking  inthe manual test cases is it possible to search the backlog items with Jira id instead of description of the feature
