How can I reduce the list of Teams to be selected in a US or in the panel?

When having a lot of Teams the list of Teams that can be seltected is huge. 

Can the list of selectable teams be reduced in a similar way to how other lists can already be reduced using rules in Octane, even though the list of teams cannot currently be reduced using this method? 

Or are there any other ideas?
