ALM does not release a license if the Automation Runner dialog is open, even after the period of inactivity exceeds the "Wait before disconnect" time and the test execution has ended.

Status: New Idea

1. Set the "Wait before disconnect" parameter to 5 min

2. Login to ALM and execute a UFT Test set locally on a UFT host machine.

3. The Automation Runner window will open and execute the test locally.,
When the test run ends, the Run Status will display in the Automation Runner Window.

4. After executing the Test Set, leave the Automation Runner window open and wait without performing any actions.

Problem:

The ALM license will not be released until the Automation Runner window is manually closed.

Enhancement Request:

When there are many users, manually closing the Automation Runner window after each Test Set execution is hectic. We request a systematic solution where ALM will release the license if no actions are performed after the Test Set execution is completed, and the period of inactivity reaches the time set in the "Wait before disconnect" parameter.

This should work similarly to how ALM releases the license when no actions are performed in other modules, such as editing a requirement or creating a defect and the period of inactivity reaches the time set in the "Wait before disconnect" parameter.
