Knowledge Doc: Error found after Verifying a project

This document explains how to solve the error of datatype nvarchar and varchar conflict after restoring a project.

Environment

ALM Version 12.55


Situation

After restoring a project and run the verify project process. The error below appears:

In the Verification Report generated in the directory mentioned on the error (refer to the above screenshot), you find these issues shown on the below screenshot.

Cause

After restoring the project, the fields that had nvarchar datatype become varchar.
This is caused by the Unicode supported mismatch between the projects (Before and after restoring)
