From all of us on the Performance Engineering Product Management team, we are excited to announce the availability of LoadRunner Cloud 2023.07. We have improved several areas such as user interface, protocols, integrations, on-premises components, and cloud. Read on to see what’s new with your favorite cloud-based performance engineering solution.
What’s New in LoadRunner Cloud?
Need to store your testing data within the European Union boundaries? LoadRunner Cloud now supports an additional and new farm deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Frankfurt.
We constantly strive to help our customers improve their LoadRunner Cloud service’s TCO (total cost of ownership). Considering the increasing popularity of the LoadRunner Cloud and the GIT integration, a flexible and cost-effective option to install a Docker container for a Git agent has been added. To further improve usage of on-premises components, the on-premises load generator has been enhanced to support execution multiple script types on the same machine.
New and enhanced protocols remain a main area of focus in LoadRunner family releases. In this release, you will notice several protocol enhancements, let me name off a few: support for Gatling version 3.9.2, advanced periodic pacing capability to the Runtime Settings user interface for DevWeb scripts, and support for newer browsers in TruClient Web. For additional protocol improvements, check out our ADM Help what’s new page.
Integrating with UFT Digital Lab (previously UFT Mobile) is now fully available on cloud, without any dependency on on-premises components. This integration allows execution of virtual users running on several real mobile devices, in parallel to running extreme scale of virtual users running on cloud load generators.
As we continue the user interface modernization project, you will see visual improvements in test definition pages, the left menu, and the top banner. You will notice the top banner has changed to show our new company name, OpenText.
We are already working on the next release so stay tuned for more innovative benefits and capabilities! We make testing easy! Boost your cloud performance engineering with LoadRunner Cloud 2023.07 today.
