Integration DCM with Android Studio

Hi all

can you suggest me to integration DCM with Android Studio,

for now i trying using the CM Bridge to act as SVN repository on DCM

but when the item have CM RULES activated, it become an issue to select request,

any suggest for direct integration by andorid studio?

Hello Zyan,

Dimensions CM supports the integration with IntelliJ IDEA via Dimensions Git Client interface with Dimensions plug-in for IDEA. So, IDEA users work with Dimensions CM repository like they'd usually work with Git. The integration also provides a Request Inbox view and a picker for Requests to commit with.

This requires installed Git Dimensions Git Client IntelliJ IDEA Dimensions plug-in.

Even though we did not officially certify Android Studio, that's IntelliJ IDEA based IDE, so should work as fine as IntelliJ IDEA. We also have internal users working with Dimensions in Android Studio.

many thanks for your advice, i'll try base on suggestion for my assessment, and our client still using the 14.3.3, is it should be work with that version? since you link base on DCM 14.5.2

If i not mistaken, for dimensions git client need separate license for that? CMIIW

You'd need Dimensions CM Server at least 14.5.0.1 to work with Git Client.

Git client should not require any additional licenses. There was an earlier Git integration (so called Git Connector) in 14.3.x and 14.4.x which did require special licensing due to my knowledge. While the new Git Client integration does not require it.
