Multi value attributes in reports and charts

Hello, I feel maybe there is something wrong in reports when multi values attrivutes are used. The field "Affected components" is multi valued but only the first item is shown in reports and charts. As a result the charts can be misleading. Is this the intended behaviour? Thanks a lot,Sebastiano.

Hi Alexander,is there a way to download all values of the multi valued attributes to Excel? This way I can do the charts by postprocessing the data in Excel. Thanks a lot,Sebastiano.

There are published views in the database. These are documented in the Guide to Reports. You may then access the published views by using ODBC to connect to the database as the report user. The names of all published views start with PCMS_

Ah, I heard about those reports via ODBC but never tried, thank you!Sebastiano.

Hi,You may also try C or Java API to query the attributes, or Web Services. All of these require some programming.

Hello, is this limitation still existing in dimensions?

For our multi values we always need to know just the latest entry.

And I would need a solution for standard users without any programming knowledge.

    Hello Andreas,

Yes, the behavior still remains for multi-value attributes showing the 1st value.

In the case of only latest attribute value requirement - I think that can be a reasonable enhancement request to introduce such report option.

Do you want me to record it for a future release?
