menu bar missing

Hello,

in my dimensions CM client (14.x)  the menu bar is missing.

Is there any shortcut to get it back?

    Hello,

Is that the Desktop Client or Web Client?

If that's the Desktop - when client is closed, try to temporary rename Windows registry key (via regedit.exe) "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Serena\Dimensions\14.x.0\PC Client". Then restart the client. Maybe wrong position of menu was written to the registry and being preserved moving it somewhere to invisible coordinates on a start.

Just guessing. A screenshot may help to suggest further.

    Its the Desktop client.

Screenshot is not possible -  a desktop client without the menu bar would be visible.

Also in Fullscreen I dont see a menu bar somewhere.

What would be the registry key where the menu position is stored?

    I found Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Serena\Dimensions\14.5.0\PC Client\Menus

There (Default) is set to (value not set)

Popupitem and Pulldownitem are filled with a lot of numbers (i think these are the menu entries of the item menus)

More specifically the menu position, docking/floating states are stored at

    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Serena\Dimensions\14.4.0\PC Client\Workspace\DockingManager-1

    and

    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Serena\Dimensions\14.4.0\PC Client\Workspace\Pane-593980

You'd need to rename both to get menu back in its original place. If we are on the right track, of course.

In this section I have changed the value "IsFloating" from 1 to 0.

    This solved the problem.

    Thank you!!
