suppressing errors from dmcli

I'm using dmcli on Linux. It works fine, but every time I call dmcli, after it's done with my command, I get an Error in free(): invalid pointer.

This would be fine except that I cannot suppress that error. Even if I route stderr and stdout to /dev/null, the backtrace and memory map still print pages of data to the console.

Is there some other way to suppress the error?

I'm using Serena Dimensions CM CLI Client 14.3.3 Build 9.349 (u) on SUSE 12.5

I think it would be better (and probably easier) to find the cause of the error rather than suppress it. What command are you running Joel? I've not seen this reported before. Do you have any API event triggers installed?

I'm really only using it to run two commands: `BC` and `RUR` from the command line without using the GUI.
`dmcli -user username -pass password -host dimserver -dbname database -dsn dsn -cmd 'BC CHREQ_12345 /FILENAME=\"filename.html\"' `
Then I do all my analysis of the resulting data externally. The exception happens somewhere in dmcli after it finishes running my commands, so I'm not sure I can debug it much.

Hi Joel, does this happen for all requests or just some? As I mentioned I've not seen this reported before. If you do have an event trigger installed it would be useful to try it without that installed and then capture trace. Are you able to log a case for it?

It's all requests to the database. dmcli -version and dmcli -help don't produce the error.
