Changesets were first introduced in CM 14.1. Changesets enable you to view changes to streams, projects, and folders and get information such as: who made the change, which request was used, and what comments made at the time of delivery.
In CM 14.1, Changesets included a set of filters to limit the information displayed. Text filters allowed you to pick an attribute and display changes that match a specific value. Date filters allowed you to choose a date range.
CM 14.2 adds two filtering options: Version and Changeset Type.
The stream/project version is incremented each time a change is made and uniquely identifies a changeset. Select Version to find changesets with a specific version number.
The Changeset Type depends on the operation performed: deliver, merge, or change (for a check in).
There are two additional options, Expand and Date filter, that you can access from the bottom left corner:
Date filter allows you to automatically apply a date range when the Changesets dialogs opens. For streams/projects with a long history this is a convenient way of only showing the latest and most relevant data. Default: Last month
Expand enables you to control which changesets are automatically expanded:
When you select an option it is applied immediately and to all new searches. All changesets means that the changesets are automatically expanded, as you scroll down the list. Visible changesets is only applied to changesets that are currently visible in the dialog. Applying one of the options may save time expanding each changeset in search results manually. Default: None.
