Using role-based personalization to show only related features to a group of users has many benefits. To name a few:

Dimensions CM allows you to create user interface profiles that you can then assigned to users &/or groups. When a user logs into Dimensions they can select the available profiles assigned to them.
In the video below we cover how to create a profile for a group whose main tasks are working with Requests and running reports. We will then make the profiles available to a group of users.
Note: When upgrading your Dimensions system, the installer does not alter your profiles. So if there are new functionality available that want to make visible to the users, you may need to modify your existing profiles.
