Unable to run a sample test getting error problem to allocate dedicate IPs for runtime component

I setup load generators on my VM's and security team opened up the firewall and ports as well.

I choose On-premise in Loadrunner cloud before running sample test.

Microfocus has already assigned a dedicated IP which is hosted on AWS .

When i run test i am getting a pop up window like this

    Dear Geetika

Your current runtime component is allocated in Dublin while the runtime component for OPLG required N. Virginia.

I suggest to open a ticket to allocation the runtime component in N.Virginia for your tenant.

    Hi,

I am actually choosing the option as on-premise and not Cloud in the distribution tab (load runner cloud).

Distribution in N.Virginia I set as 0% and dedicated IP assigned to me is in Dublin. Since the Virtual machines are hosted in AWS canada east my load generators also pointing the same.

Do i need to request dedicated IP's in Canada east?

    Dear Geetika,

You do not need to request dedicated IP in Canada east. When you select "on-premise", LRC always uses runtime component in N.Virginia no matter where is the location of your on-premise.

    Thanks Kate,

So this means LRC runtime should be setup to North Virginia and I can  setup my on premise Load Generators from my virtual machine

Your test looks like it's configured in the 'general' settings to use 'dedicated IPs' that's why you are seeing this error (you have 0 IPs in N. Virginia).

So you may try to run the test without the use of 'dedicated IPs' enabled. However if it were to fail you'll probably need to request a dedicated IP in N. Virginia and white-list in your network.

    Cheers,

    Oscar.
