I tried the changes in the article, but the port remains open. To be specific our LGs are LRE 2023 R1 OneLG running as a process.

I stopped both the agent and the "LoadRunner Remote Management Agent" service, made the changes suggested in the article and restarted them.  TCPView shows 5003 was opened as soon as the agent was started (fwiw, the port closes when I close the agent).

I also noticed that the ..\al_agent\dat\merc_agent.cfg file had the ExecutableName=alagentservice.exe & ExecutableProcName=alagentproc.exe, but the executables seem to have been renamed at some point to: magentservice.exe and magentproc.exe.  I updated the values with the new names (screenshot below) but the issues persists.

Sorry - looks like I gave you an incorrect steer on this. The original reference where I found the method to disable port 5003 actually stated to add the key "NMMRouterAvailable=0" under the [Attributes] section - not "NMMRouterPort". When I found KM01777001 I didn't notice that it had "NMMRouterPort" and not "NMMRouterAvailable"!

I checked in my OneLG 2021 R1 and port 5003 is not opened when the key "NMMRouterAvailable=0" is added under the [Attributes] section - applies to both magent and alagent.

 MarkSmith The entry for NMMRouterAvailable=0 was in the ..\launch_service\dat\merc_agent.cfg file but under the [AgentsToConfig] section (you can see that in the screenshot from my previous reply).  I moved it under [Attributes], restarted the agent and port 5003 is no longer opened.

IMO, this should be corrected in the next patch. Thank you so much for your help!
