LRE2023 - Test Run: no Transactions and no Dashboard Graphs

Issue:

Immediately after the migration to version 2023 (from version 2022R2) we can’t run any tests as expected.

If a test is executed there are:

  • No (passed) transactions in the summary window.
  • No Transactions in the Transactions tab of the Test Run page.
  • Dashboard/Graphs view stays completely empty or shows empty Graphs.  For some Tests the Graphs are not shown at all.
  • The window to select the possible Graphs stays completely empty and offers no Graph to select.
  • After the test is completed/stopped you see the error “Failed to load results”.

Workaround:

On each/the specific Controller with the issue

  • Stop LRE Data service
  • rename or delete the folder
    ren <Installation folder>\orchidtmp\influxdata influxdata.old
  • start LRE Data service

Attention: You will lose all existing online graph data for tests executed with this Controller. You will see the data just in the result files.

From now on you can run the Test with the modified Controller(s) and LRE works as expected.

  • Hello,

Reviewed the details and I'd like to ask if you have ran the reconfigure host after the LRE Host was upgraded?

We've tested the above scenario of upgrading on top of previous LRE version with several beta/ early adopter customers and also in our QA cycles - with no such issue, so it should be better investigated first on your  LRE environment.

I'll contact you directly for review.
