Hi there
After selecting TruClient Web as the protocol please ensure you change the drop down to Chromium as highlighted below:

You can then click on develop script and start recording using this browser.
Note: please ensure that the installation has been successful as you should have a chrome.exe at this directory (or at custom install path):
C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenText\LoadRunner\bin\chrome

The highlighted drop-down and 'Develop Script' are not present in my UI of LR (Version 2020).

It sounds like your installation is not correct, I would recommend you download the latest releases of the community edition or standalone VuGen from the links below:

this LR is installed in customer ecosystem which is difficult to upgrade as the laid down upgrade process is complex. had it been on my personal system i would have easily upgraded this. This Chrome identification issue was not there with the same version earlie and now it has surfaced. Truclient is not the recommended browser for the AUT. I tried to use batch file containing chrome to start in incognito mode but also it didn't work.
