Hi Janos,

You already have Rich Text fields in PPM - you need to pick a TextArea that is using "HTML" type in the workbench. There are two significant drawback to these fields:

- They will include HTML tags in both PARAMETER and VISIBLE_PARAMETER values, so if you show these contents in like Request List portlet, the text content will all HTML tags will be displayed.

- It's still limited to 4000 characters, HTML tags included, so you won't be able to include too much text or copy & paste some images in it.

Regarding the limit of 4000 characters, feel free to submit an Idea on Idea Exchange.

yes we showed the rich text field to the customer. It is limited to 2000 chars because of the html code in it.

The customer requires at least 8000 chars.

FYI, the limit of 4000 chars for Rich text will be removed in PPM 24.2, tentatively due for release in April.
