The option to search by request number is still here on latest PPM release:

I'm not aware of this option being removed at some point.

- What PPM version are you on?

- Can you share a screenshot of your "Add Reference: Existing Request" popup screen?

Thanks for getting back to me Etienne, and my apologizies for the delay in getting back to you.

Yes, I know the field had been there, but we had some custom work done to hide some fields from that search and was unable to find how it was done at the time. I was reaching out in hopes of finding which file this code would be in so we could fix/add back.

I believe we have found it now...RequestSearchStaticFields.jsp and making updates.

I strongly advise you to submit ideas about whatever you're doing by customizing PPM JSPs in order to turn this into a product built-in capability that will not make your PPM upgrades a very painful exercise.
