PPM Webhook Event Type Update not working on workflow actions

Hi,

I am using the Webhook functionality to do a POST request:

The Webhook POST Request work 100% when I save the request/project but clicking the action button on the Workflow does not trigger a POST Request from the Webhook configuration.

Should the workflow action not also qualify as a update to the request/project. One change is the Status change from the workflow action taken which change the request/project.

Is this an error on the webhook functionality or as per design?

    Hi Alfred,

    I can confirm that this is the current behavior that webhooks will not fire when pressing workflow buttons (actions/decisions).

    However, since clicking the action/decision buttons will also update the request fields (if modified) and will likely change the request status, it would make sense that "UPDATE" WebHooks should also fire in that scenario - so I'd say that this should be considered a defect and definitely not an intended behavior. Please submit a support ticket to get that addressed, and don't hesitate to include a link to this thread in case you get some pushback claming that this current limitation is by design.
