work_plan_default_columns parameter

We noticed that columns mentioned in work_plan_default_columns parameter only apply to the default view. We need to expand this and apply work_plan_default_columns values to all the views and not just the default view. Is that something we can achieve in 24.1?

    No.

work_plan_default_columns only applies when a user opens a work plan for the first time, and never even picked a view before (thus uses default view).

Also, it will be problematic to apply these default columns to all views, because not all views have all columns - so this parameter isn't meant to apply to all the views, by design.

    Hi Etienne,

It seems that all the workplan views do have the columns and users have the ability to add the column to the views. It would really be helpful to have the ability to atleast have activity code and custom columns be defaulted to all the views.

Except for Gantt view which even today bypasses and does not allow users to add columns.
