Bulk Removal of PPM Access (Security Groups)

Status: Waiting for Votes

I noticed that there is no option to do a bulk removal of security groups access in PPM and Workbench which ends up as a manually activity for us.

When performing regular PPM User recertification, we end up doing a lot of manual work to remove security group access of each user. We would like to propose to have a new functionality that will allow us to do a bulk removal of security groups.

  • Thanks for the clarification.

  • Most of the time I used it based on Security Groups as part of our PPM Recertification process. Other times, I just specific number of resources. It will vary depending on the the request but of the time I use the security groups.

I know in Workbench you can open the security group and choose the user that you can remove/delete but this is done manually as well.

  • Hi Charlotte,

We'll need some clarification on the criteria you use to select the users to be updated: Is it just based on their existing Security Group(s)? License? Org Unit? Resource Pool/Team? Manager? Or is it usually a list of hand-picked users based on no specific criteria?

  • Bulk update of licenses is already available, but not yet for Security Groups. Opening for votes.
