On Tuesday, November 12, as part of a company wide initiative to bring all corporate websites under the OpenText brand, the Community will be down briefly around 11am Eastern / 8am Pacific as we transition to a new domain name.  The community will be offline while we make the change and when it comes back online it will be located at community.opentext.com and the old domain will redirect to this new location.  Thank you for your patience as we make this important change.

Knowledge Doc: Request List portlet cannot be exported to Excel when custom field contains negative values

0 Likes

After selecting fields which have negative values to be displayed on the Request List portlet, when exporting the portlet to Excel, there will be an error which can be found later in the server logs pointing to

'Servlet.service() for servlet [org.apache.jsp.web.knta.dsh.portlet.ListPortletExportToExcel_jsp] threw exception java.lang.NumberFormatException'

The exported Excel file will be unusable and be named differently from a working one with only positive values.
The issue also occurs when exporting Capitalized Project Breakdown portlet.
