You can configure as many chart server connections as are required. Silk Central automatically implements a load balancing mechanism for chart generation.

1. In the menu Click "Infrastructure"
    
2. Click "Chart Servers".
   
   If a chart server was installed with the application server on the same computer, a chart server connection to localhost is configured automatically.
   
   If your chart servers should communicate with the front-end server through a different URL than the one that users use to access the Web user interface, click Configure Web Service URL and type this URL into the text field. This is required for example when users access the Web user interface through a proxy, while your chart servers need the internal URL or IP address of the front-end server.
    
3. Click New Chart Server. The New Chart Server dialog box appears
4. Enter the Hostname or IP address, the Port, and the URL where the chart service is installed. The default port is 19126, the default URL isChartServer.
5. Click "Check" to establish a test connection to the chart server.
   
   The Chart Server Check dialog box appears.If the test is successful, a test image appears. If the test fails, an error message appears. Check the entered data and verify that a chart server is installed on the target machine.
    
6. Click Close
7. If the test connection was successful, check the Active check box
8. Click OK.
