Can I map more than one requirement property from Requisite pro requirements to the same requirement property within SilkCentral Test Manager?

Yes, this should be possible. When using a 3rd party requirements management application, such as Requisite Pro, it may be the case that you have the same type of property defined for several different requirement types, yet you may want all of these properties to be seen as the same property in SilkCentral Test Manager.

Create the customer property within SilkCentral Test Manager- Go to Settings / Customer Requirement Properties / New Property:

Set up the Property mappings: go to Settings / Integrations Configurations, the integration should be setup already - refer to the SilkCentral User Guide if this has not been done already - click on "Edit Property mapping" button of the configuration.

Select the different properties from the Requisite Pro project and map them to the same property within SilkCentral Test Manager - add each mapping and save.

The following is an example of how it may look:

The two properties from the external requirements project are now being mapped to the same requirement property within SilkCentral Test Manager.

N.B. To ensure that everything works fine ensure that the external property type matches the SilkCentral Test Manager Property type e.g. String ->String etc. otherwise there may be unexpected problems when mapping the data.
