Problem:

Is it possible to Copy/Paste multiple Test Definitions in SilkCentral Test Manager?

Resolution:

From SilkCentral Test Manager 2008 it is now possible to select multiple child objects of any object in the Test Plan unit via the new "Contents" tab. Using the mouse or keyboard shortcuts, users can cut, copy, paste, and delete multiple objects simultaneously. This functionality is also available when working with manual test steps. As shown below:

• Open SilkCentral Test Manager
• Go to Test Plan section and select the particular Test Container/Folder you wish to copy the Test Definitions from.
• Select the contents Tab

• Select the multiple Test definitions you wish to copy and choose the copy icon, or Right Click | Copy
  

• Select the Test Container/Folder you wish to copy the test definitions to.
• Select the contents tab and click on the paste icon or right click | Paste as child.
  • The test Definitions will paste into the specified container/folder
