Problem:

Getting error that execution server has been deactivated when executing with a VMWare Lab Manager Integration in SilkCentral Test Manager

Resolution:

If getting the following error when running executions via the LabManager Integration in SilkCentral TestManager:

“Either an administrator has deactivated this execution server or the associated execution server within a Lab Manager Workspace Configuration is no longer accessible or has been restarted before results have been stored.”

To overcome this problem:

• Go to Administration | Locations in SilkCentral Test Manager.
• Select your lab manager configuration
• Increase the responsiveness field.

This should resolve the problem - as this error occurs if capturing the configuration takes longer than the "Responsiveness Timeout" for the execution server.
