Problem:

Keyword expansion does not work for files with no extension in Windows Client

Description:

Keyword expansion is not working for files with no extension. The following procedure which works in Cross-platform client, does not work in the Windows client:

1. Select Project > Properties from the menu bar. The Project Properties dialogappears.
2. Select the Options tab.
3. Select the Keyword Expansion check box to enable keyword expansion and use keywords in your text files.This check box applies to files added or checked in from a client, or from integrations with third-party applications.
4. Enter the file specifications with which you want to use keywords. Enter * there to have Keyword expansion for files with no extensions.

Answer/Solution:

CR 36512 has been filed for this issue. This will be looked at and may be fixed in a future release. Please use the Cross-platform client as a workaround.
