Are there priority rights and access rights assigned at the field level?

Resolution:

Yes. QATrackRecord's access rights are extremely customizable. Access rights are managed at the group level. Users can belong to one or more groups, and a user inherits the greatest rights of all groups to which he or she belongs. Three levels of access can be given to any group:

• Overall Database: Read/Write, Read Only, Read/Add. For example, the "Support" group can be set up with Read/Add rights, so that these users can add new items to the database but cannot modify an existing item
• Type Level: Read/Write, Read Only, Read/Add. Each group can have different levels of access to each type or item in the database. For example, one group may have full read/write access to Defects while other groups can only read Defects.
• Field Level: Read/Write, Read Only, Hidden. Each group can have its own rights to each field in each type. For example, the Resolution field within a Defect can be hidden for one group and read-only for another.
