How do I resolve file status appearing as unknown when using ActiveDirectory roaming profiles?
Unknown file status can sometimes result if a user has their syncdb folder stored in their Active Directory roaming profile. Moving the syncdb folder to a local folder which is not part of the profile may resolve this issue. Care should be taken that all modified files are checked in prior to changing the SyncDB location.
To change the SyncDB folder, go to
TOOLS | PERSONAL OPTIONS | FILE Tab | Change path in "Central Repository Location"
All file statuses will now change to Unknown. To correct this
and obtain the latest files from the repository, click
FILE | Select "CHECK OUT ALL" | Select "FORCE CHECK OUT"
File statuses should now appear as current. If your issue
persists, contact Borland support for assistance.
