Problem:
Is there a method to export user information from StarTeam with the corresponding group membership details?
Resolution:
The attached script (.vbs file zipped) will export the StarTeam user details and their corresponding groups into an Excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet can then be further exported to CSV format for auditing purposes if necessary.
1. Extract the zip file
2. Use a text editor to modify the StarTeam credentials to match your system
3. Save the changes
4. Double-click the .vbs file
As this is a VB script (Visual Basic Script), your system may require some additional dll's to run, but any system that already has Internet Explorer (or other Microsoft components) installed should be able to run .vbs files.
