For Windows, to start and stop the Borland License Server from the command line,

  1. Open a command window. At the prompt, go to \bin
  2. Start the Borland License Server by executing the command: belise start
  3. Stop the Borland License Server by executing the command: belise stop


For Unix, to start and stop the Borland License Server from the command line,

  1. Open a command window. At the prompt, go to $belise_HOME/bin
  2. Start the Borland License Server by executing the command: belise.sh start
  3. Stop the Borland License Server by executing the command: belise.sh stop
