When StarTeam CPC is started, no window appears.
Description:
A user tries to start StarTeam CPC and after the splash screen, the
main window never appears, but Task Manager shows the CPC
running.
Answer/Solution:
One thing that Support has seen with this problem is that the
Window size for the CPC has been reduced so much that it is
basically hidden on the screen. Or perhaps the window has been
moved off-screen. This might happen in a two monitor environment
when it is taken back to one monitor.
To correct this, access C:\Documents and
Settings\{username}\Application Data\Borland\StarTeam and locate
starteam-client-options.xml. Delete this file. Now, starting
StarTeam CPC should work correctly.
The user will need to go back into Personal Options and make any
necessary changes that were there before.
