Using the server log how can I check what StarTeam Client version is connecting to the server?

Resolution:

• Product Name: StarTeam
• Product Version: 2005 R2 - 2008 R2
• Product Component: CPC/Server
• Platform/OS Version: All

When a user connects to the StarTeam Server an entry is placed in the Server log such as:

Connection made from workstation MachineName (CID: 7845652055, API:1.64)

The specified API relates to the version of the StarTeam Client connecting to the server. Below are the API"s used by the Cross-Platform Clients from 2005 R2 to 2008 R2:

• StarTeam 2008 R2: API 1.64
• StarTeam 2008: API 1.58
• StarTeam 2006 R2: API 1.57
• StarTeam 2006: API 1.55
• StarTeam 2005 R2: API 1.25
• StarTeam 2005 R2 (Windows Client): API 1.24
