When clicking the StarTeam CPC shortcut, the client does not load. No error message is provided and no StarTeam process is listed in the Task manager.
This issue can be caused by incorrect association for the .stjava file extension. To resolve:
1. Locate the StarTeam CPC shortcut in the Start Menu 2. Right click and select "Properties"
3. The "Opens With" field should show "StarTeam Java VM Launcher" 4. If a different value is shown here, click "Change" 5. Browse to the SDK version which matches the CPC installation 6. Open the "\bin" folder 7. Select "stjava.exe" 8. Click Open 9. Click OK
