The 200Mb is a baseline that satisfy 80% of the customers.

The limitation is caused by syncronious upload and packaging process in Mobile Center versions > 3.0.

Starting with MC 3.0, we added async upload and packaging. With the next release of MC, this limitation will be removed entirely and you can upload an applicaiton with bigger size as well. Stay tuned!

    Hi Cyrus,

With the release of Patch 2 for Mobile Center 3.1 the limitation of being unable to upload a file larger than 200Mb has been removed; as you can now upload a file up to 400Mb in size.

You can download the patch 2 from here: https://softwaresupport.softwaregrp.com/doc/KM03466785 you should also ensure that you also install the corresponding connector or Linux patch 2 also.

If you have any issues with installing the patch or uploading a file then please open a new ticket and we will be happy to help.

    Thanks,
    John
