Copy and paste information from a device connected to UFT Mobile

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to copy and paste information from a real device connected to UFT Mobile.

I saw that there is a send text option in UFT Mobile that lets you send text to the device, but I couldn't find an opposite option that lets you copy information from the device.

We need to copy some microservices responses after some actions in an app and the only solution we found thus far is to send it via email, but I'm wondering if we're missing something and there is an easier way.

    Hi,

    Indeed you can send this information via the phone itself , or if the information is also located in the device logs you can download the device logs via UFTM UI and take it from there.

    As this feature is not possible currently in UFTM please submit a new ER for this in the MF idea exchange web site, so we can take this into consideration in the next future UFTM releases.
