to edit model

I would like to know if it is possible to edit the model field, the ID is too large to identify some models and this will make my job better.

    Hello Torquato,

    The device model is retrieved directly from the device. For example "samsung SM-G900F" so it cannot be changed however, you can change the Name of the device (the name appears in bold in a larger font in the UI) to something easier to use. 

    If you are an administrator, you can even prevent users from modifying again the name field so you can use it for identification purposes.

    I have an automation software that was programmed to take only the model, so changing the name would not work for me.
