[UFT One with built-in UFT Developer 24.2, IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition 2022.3.1] - Object Identification Center [Selenium] keeps loading when trying to identify objects in the Temenos T24 user panel

Environment:

T24 Temenos Browser Web

Description:

When I run Object Identification Center [Selenium] to identify objects in the user panel, OIC keeps loading and then after a few minutes I get an error that the browser has been disabled.

Important note: The user panel has frames that must be accessed to use subsequent options for a given frame.

Steps to reproduction:

1. Run IntelliJ with a UFT project
2. Expand the top menu "UFT Developer" and go to the "Selenium" section, then select "Object Identification Center [Selenium]"
3. Select Chrome browser
4. Go to the page where the Model Bank T24 server is located
5. Start recognizing items

Current behavior [ Object Identification Center [Selenium] ]:

OIC keeps loading and then after a few minutes it informs you that there is no connection to the browser.

Current behavior [ Object Identification Center ]:

When I run the OIC main option, only the entire page is recognized.

Expected behavior:

After starting the IOC for a given page, which is the panel of a logged-in user to Temenos T24 Browser Web, the IOC should recognize the elements on it. I kindly ask for help in solving this problem.

    Hello Bartosz,

It appears that the regular spy tool is not detecting web elements, which might indicate an issue with the Chrome extension.

Could you please check the extension tab to see if the UFT Chrome extension is enabled? If it's enabled, try disabling it and then re-enabling it, followed by restarting the browser.

    Hello Cornelieu,

I tried to re-enabling extension in my Chrome browser but problem still exists. Is it possible that I did not download all the necessary Add-ins during UFT Developer installation?

if you install UFT Developer you should have the Web Addin. can you try to manually install the extension? go to extension delete the OpenText UFT Agent, enable developer mode and Load unpack from this path C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenText\UFT Developer\Installations\Chrome\v3\Extension, or adapt it according to UFT One path.

If still not working and with regular OIC you see StdWin objects instead of Web Objects please create a case and we will investigate further.

    Corneliu,
