File not inheriting folder retention/destruction when being added/ Form pops up for every file being added instead of auto deposit.

I am having trouble with my files being added not inheriting the folder retention/dispostion/triggers. Also, the form box keeps appearing for every file instead of the file just auto depositing into the folder. I am lost on how to fix these issues or if there is a better way? Please help.

    Just reviewing the forums for posts with no replies - is this still an issue?

    Documents do inherit the retention / disposal of the container, but not in a direct way. 

    When the folder is scheduled, and calculation is run against all contained items based on the folder schedule, or if the document has a specific schedule. 

    This means that you only need to apply retention at the container level unless a items in the folder requires a more severe / longer schedule. 

    How are you capturing the documents into the files - drag and drop, document queue or check in style?
