Get ready for your users to report a lot more "This Operation is not permitted".

We found a workaround, but we are awaiting a fix from Open Text.

You need to give the users remove from Folder Permission. Try this and they should be able to send to recycle bin again.

Yes, we are on 23.4.1    .. Well, this one didn't work, I mean the Recycle bin. I have changed / ticked the permission" Remove from Container"... restarted TRIM... But the error still persists, meaning: "This Operation is not permitted". I tried protected folders and Unrestricted folders. docs there, no success.. error pops up.... Are there any other suggestion(s) please? Thanks

Also, what else the standard user getting with this permission? million docs in search to be removed from 1 container and added to another one...

I am not saying it is right to give this permission, just that Open Text made a lot of odd permission changes in the recent updates. I am expecting they will fix this and others

So, in CM 23.4.1 in TES, there are the options for permissions/user types?

Not TES, I am just referring the user permissions for a location (profile tab)

Oh, I misunderstood this one: "I think we found you then need to save and deploy in the Enterprise Studio ". But, the permissions are anyway there in Administration - System - User Types - Dropdown menu Knowledge Worker. In CM 9.4.4 the option for for KW "Remove from Container" is not checked and everything works OK. Now in CM 23.4.1 even with that option checked for KW, it still does not work. That is the problem. KW cannot send docs to Recycle Bin , no matter what. The same user , with now Admin profile can easily send docs to Bin... Not sure what else to do...
