use custom date format in CM24.3

I want to use date type for example 09-AUG-1999 (DD-MMM-YYYY) , how can we do it in CM 23.4?

    Hi  
    As a user you can set the date format you use in the client, via the options , in the order you want i.e dd/mm/yyyy but not the exact format.
    there are currently only three options dd/mm/yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, yyyy/mm/dd 

          

    When using the client, and entering a date in a field

     

    you can enter in the format you have suggested, but it will be changed to the format in use.
    For example I entered the date registered as 21-Aug-2024, but this will change to the actual format in use. 

    You can therefore enter dates in the format you are after, but the display will alter it to the available format.
