Situation

The Check-in and Check out buttons are missing for all file types for users using MAC environment in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox

For Ipad/Iphone users, the Check-in/Check-out options were intentionally removed for iPad with all browsers to maintain consistency and security as part of the following internal CR:

OCTCR52O630133 Web Client - Check-in, check-out option should not be shown in safari browser in ipad to maintain consistancy

So the user is allowed to check in documents when creating records but won't be able to make further edits to the documents afterward.
 

Cause
