When using the Send To > Mail option, the attachment are embedded, because the email format is always set to Rich Text.

Environment

Content Manager 23.x – 24.x
 

Situation

When using the Send To > Mail option, the attachments are embedded, because the email format is always set to Rich Text. Even though the users' Outlook preferences are set to prefer HTML as default. Some users may not be happy with this behaviour as previous versions always used HTML format, which they are familiar with.

Cause

This is the new behavior from 23.3
